Launched Website

Today (December 20th, 2023), marks the day I launched GATEKKA'S CORNER!

To-Do / Ideas

• Make site more flexible and mobile friendly
• For mobile: create button to show menu & navigation buttons, make text smaller, remove dark accents on sides of content container
• Issue: Fix gradient overlapping right-panel on mobile chrome browser.
• Create option to hide left-panel allowing the right-panel to take up all width
• Default to landing page with picture collage. When user clicks on a navigation button, make it so a button saying ‘Go Back’ appears to take the user back to the landing page
• Make background image less blurry by sharpening it up
• Add steel beams as vertical dividers for decoration
• Add christmas lights for decoration
• Add some marble like texture to the right panel
• Maybe change name to “GATEKKAS REPOSITORY”, “CHRIS’ REPOSITORY”, or “Foreverest”. Whichever sounds more cool.
• Create guide on how to make a website with useful sources

Personal Milestones

• I set up Jekyll, a static page generator that allows me to create pages easily for my site! @2024/02/25 🎉🎊
• I set up a github workflow that allows me to automatically update my Neocities site automatically + directly from github! Thanks to Scumsuck for his easy-to-follow guide on setting it up! :) @2024/02/27 03:00 AM 🎉🎊
• Added ‘last modified date’ to footer of posts! Thanks to Last Modified At Plugin! @2024/03/03 12:02 AM 🎉🎊
